OK i am need of help. I am teaching a course 1 tonight, the first class. So I am supposed to bring the cake and icing and make more icing there. One problem. I am 8 weeks pregnant and sick to no end. Last week my students opened their cake containers, I couldn't handle the smell, lets just say it was not a pretty sight. I am so nervouse to make the icing and do the cake. There is no way around this is there? I don't know what to do. HELP!!!!
p.s. the cake is in my oven and the smell is getting me so sick.........
Can you chew some strong gum to overpower the scent?
Do you have a back-up instructor who could fill in for you until you get past the "ill" stage? If you can't make it through the class you might want to talk to your regional manager and see if they can find someone to fill in for you for awhile.
I feel for you, take it easy and let us know how it goes.
