I buy my sheets where ever it's least expensive and don't use any of those.

I just use my free photo edit software and print off my word.

Gives me more freedome and it has word art, wrap text.

I'm sure that a lot of your computers have it as a bundled software already.

I've noticed that some edible images look kind of washed out or faded and others are very vibrant. This must be the difference in the kind of edible ink that you use. Does anyone know the best kind of ink?

I like the kopykake ink much better then the ink from fotoart ! Also, I never have trouble getting my Image off of the sheet ! I just start at one corner to lift and it comes right off !

ButterWench,
When you use Word, does you image print centered on the frosting sheet? I have wanted to try but was afraid the image wouldn't print centered.

Ok, here are some tips on how to print on word.

Measure your edible paper, mine has a bit of an edge that won't print so my paper is not exactly 8 x 10 so I set my margins to 7.5 x 9.5 , then I clic on the top there is a left, center, right margin. I always use the center then do a "print preview" to make sure.

if you have both printers online, you can even print out a trial copy so you can double check, after the first few times you don't even have to do that anymore.

To do my cookies I click on "envelopes and Labels" and click on labels and I use the one that are like 4" , They are shipping labels I think.

Then I insert my pics, design the one of, then copy and paste the rest.

They work like a charm

I just got last week the Cannon from Amazon it's great. So far I love it and I'm so excited. Thanks for the other info. I am curious about filling the ink. Can you do this your self or do you need to just reorder the cartridge???? Thanks!

You can order the ink to refill and it is very simple. All 4 bottles have a cap & needle and you just put the needle in and fill til its full and put it back in the printer! The easiest part so far! LOL thumbs_up.gif

Yes, I did order the refill kit from Kopykake! According to what I have read you should get 80-100 prints from a fill. Not real sure about that tho!
