I think I'll start a new post with the instructions....it might get lost in this thread.... please, no more emails...just use the photo attachments on page 18. Thanks!
Just printed out your instructions, thank you very much for taking the time to post them.
Interesting... While this is a very easy way to stack a topsy-turvy, Iâd caution that it may result in many sliding top tiers⦠Gravity would pull the taller, heavier part of the top tier down the slope of the lower tier, even with the center dowel, especially with heavier cake and filling.
I used a tutorial here on CC that hollows out a small section of the bottom tier so that the top tier lies on a level surface â it is just a lot more stable, even though it does require some extra work: http://www.cakecentral.com/article1-Instructions-For-Building-A-Whimsical-Tilted-Cake.html
So a friends mom of mine needed instructions for making a crooked cake. I made up an instruction sheet for her with "diagrams". If you want it, post your email address or pm me and I'll send it out to you!! Hopefully it can help some of my dear CC friends out as well!! It is in Microsoft Word format.
Thanks Sarsi!
