just wondering the proper technigue to make cupcake cakes. also how to get the cupcakes to bake even and any other helpful hints.
They are really easy and are always a big hit. I use an ice cream scoop to measure the batter out so that they are even. Just make sure to put a dab of frosting on the bottom of the cupcakes so that they "stick" to your cakeboard, then stagger them close together in whatever shape you want. It seems like the icing may fall between but it doesn't - you end up smoothing just like you would a regular cake top. Have fun!
