I'm in a rural area and since a 12" only takes one batch of cookie dough I charge 15.00 and don't have a hard time getting it so you may get more. I live in an area of sams clubs and wal-mart and people don't want to pay much. I make about 10.00 on one and that's more than enough for me , it only takes about 1/2 hour to make it and bake it. Now that's for the one layer, I saw a lady that did a stacked one on here that was nice too. I'm doing 12" hearts for Valentines Day .

Thanks!! Glad to help loves. i live in the middle of noplace anyplace sooo it makes it hard to price cause there is nothing like this around here. you have to go to the mall to get them and the nearest one is over an hour away. so i think imma go with your 15.00 price..it will be single lyr w/ basic buttercream deco's and writing.

Thanks again.

The Mrs. Fields' Cookie stand at my local mall sells them for well over $20. I was thinking of doing them for $10 each. One question, do you use (crusting) buttercream for decorations, or go with royal icing?

I have 1 in my photo's. I did that and a cookie bouquet (with 10 cookies) for $55 total. I made it with nfsc dough and it was about 1/3 of the batch and decorated it with royal icing. I think the great american cookie company charged in the $20 range for their big cookies with just an icing drawing and border...
