You know what I have struggled with it trying to give credit where it is due? A few of my cakes were inspired by other cakes on this site. But, others have also attempted to recreate the same cakes and posted pics. So, I can't figure out who the original design was posted by.... there are like 12 versions 
When I can determine though, I will try to give credit.

Also, to anyone out there who would be offended by someone else copying your cake and NOT giving you any kudos, there are so many wonderful designs on this site that so many OTHERS copy, you never really know if you are copying the ORIGINAL when you see a photo anyway! I have seen folk give kudos to someone and then have the ORIGINAL creator come behind them and get upset!! I don't think anyone goes to copy a cake, post it, and intends to hurt anyones feelings (they wouldnt post it if they thought it would offend someone). So, let's just all agree to share and share alike...afterall...that's what the site is about right??!! Take your inspiration from others and give inspiration to all!! I love CC!!

Amen. And isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery? If your cake wasn't beautiful, no one would want to copy it, so take it as a compliment to your ability and creativity and move on.
Go right ahead doesn't bother me no PM needed or credit. Some of my cakes ideas came from somewhere but never really knew who to give the credit too. But I do have some of my own creations I'm getting better at that part.

You guys are so crazy and I love it!!! I'm feeling much more comfortable now. And I agree that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. So I'm gonna continue to flatter until I can get my creative juices flowing, LOL!
