Cut And Shaping For A 3D Cake

Most cakes work better if you're cutting them if frozen ... or at least that's my opinion ![]()
I freeze my cakes before I start carving them. And with the heat here in Arizona, I sometimes have to stick the cake back in the freezer if it starts thawing out too much before I am finished carving it. If you try to carve a cake that isn't frozen (or atleast it has been my experience with it), the cake will crumble much more than if it is frozen. Just my opinion.
