I just learned the "Upside down icing technique" and I really like that, but my question is, If I'm using an icing image...... will it stick to the buttermilk crust or do I put the image down and put icing on top of that? I guess I'm just scared the color will bleed or fade?

I think I'd probably stick it on after you ice like you normally would.....once the frozen transfer (I assume that's what you're talking about) thaws it should stick to the crusted icing on it's own.
