Strange, the first thing that popped into my mind here is

rattlesnake eggs

Anybody care to guess why I'd think about that? Anyway, I'm sure somebody eats them somewhere. Ya think?

(Please excuse me, I've been sick all week, this cough may have affected my brain.LOL)

I guess I really am sick! The longer I think about those eggs, the worse I feel. We know what's in those eggs, so whatever in the world made me think about eating them! I am a really sick puppy, and not just physically!

Sorry about that one, I definitely do apologize.

Now I have to ask, what is a Santa Claus Melon?

Triple Sec (back to the booze phaze!)

You meant real rattlesnake eggs? I bet some people do eat the real ones.

Thought you meant stuffed jalapeños -- growing up that's what our neighbors used to call them. Santa Claus melon is named because it's peak season begins in December. VJ, absolutely no need to apologize!!
