Priscilla was the one to leave, although it was between her and Christian De La Fuentes at the bottom.

I was completely unimpressed with almost everyone this week, maybe next week will be better.

The little kids were fun to watch!

Thanks Janice. I'm not sorry it was Priscilla. Not one of my favorites. I agree, not the best week. I don't usually enjoy Latin week, as much as some of the other weeks, as I think the dances are too hard for new dancers.

IMHO the rhumba is very difficult, and they seem to do a lot more "posing" than dancing.

My least favorite is Marissa, she just comes on too strong for me, but she does a good job on the dancing.

None of the men are really great, also MHO. Still, looking forward to Monday again.

I was just reading what lisad1 said about Kristi's partner, Mark opening his mouth like a fish! That is so funny becaus I noticed the same thing and it was SO FUNNY! But...I have to say that he can do anything he wants and will still look good. I think he is the cutest thing and I hope he wins! I just want to pinch his cheeks!!! .....on his face! icon_redface.gif

Well it was so long to Marlee Matlin tonight. She really did a great job considering she can't hear the music at all!

The little kids (12 and 13 year olds) were great tonight, they look like little dolls all dressed up in grownup clothes!

And the wondering begins again until next week about who will be next to leave.

I must say, that I have yet to watch this series, but have heard nothing but good things about it.

So as of now who do you want to win?......

IMO Kristi Yamaguchi is the best, and has been from the very beginning. Of course, there are those who say she has had an unfair advantage because of her skating experience, but she says it is totally different. If there is an advantage, it is she knows how to move and use her arms while she dances.

Of the men, probably Mario is the best, but then again he has some advantage just because of his musical knowledge and experience.

Since the winner is determined by the public's voting, almost anybody could win! It is a fun show, and I really look forward to it every week.

Well, another night of competition, and another one of injury. In case you weren't watching, Christian De la Fuentes pulled a muscle or something in his left arm during their last dance...looked pretty intense. They said he was going to the hospital to be checked out, hope it will be okay!

Everybody really was good tonight, but the fan votes tell the story, so we will see who stays on Tuesday night! I am amazed how Jason has moved on up, he is doing really well. Those football players are showing us they are good at lots of things.

I believe they said three more weeks, but am not absolutely certain. The show tonight will have def leppard on and some kid dancers compete as well. It is a good show!

Shannon is the one leaving this week, she was very disappointed. So was I, I'd rather Marissa was going.

Christian is staying and says he will be able to continue dancing, even though his arm is pretty badly hurt, he will be having surgery after he is finished with the show.

I missed the little kids tonight, bet they were good!

Yeah, Shannon is disappointed because she's going to miss Derek!
Apparently they are a couple.

As for Marissa, she not my favorite either, but God, I love how Tony is around her. He is fiercely protective of her. She was saying how she had to bring out her "sexy", and he told her she WAS sexy. icon_lol.gif I noticed several episodes back (the episode where her dress rode entirely up) him giving Carrie Ann a look that said don't go there....He seems like a really nice guy!

Can't wait for this weeks episode...because Janice, where you like McDreamy, I like Maxsim (looks like a boyfriend I had when I was 20 icon_rolleyes.gif )

Also, I have to say that for filler, I do like this seasons kid competition. They are pretty cute!!

I guess if Shannon and Derek are really a couple, they won't have to actually miss each other, they can just go on without having to spend all their time practicing.
Somehow they don't seem to quite fit, but then who knows who goes together, there have been some much stranger couples.

You are right, lisad1, Tony really is sweet with Marissa, that is really nice. Most of the pros are very good with their "star" partners, sometimes it has to be very hard to work with them, but they hang in there.

Now that you mention it, McDreamy reminds me of an old boyfriend too, maybe that is the attraction. Makes me wonder what happened to him. I'll be watching for Max too, he definitely isn't hard on the eyes.

Looking forward to tomorrow night's show, we're getting down to the serious business now. Wonder how Christian will be able to manage with that torn muscle in his arm?

Looks like Marissa and Tony may be the ones leaving tonight, they are the lowest scorers by the judges, but maybe the fans will keep them in. Sorry, I just can't vote for her.

Jason Taylor has really stepped up the game, don't you think? Christian did pretty well with his arm mostly out of commission, at least he made a valiant effort, got to give him credit for that.

Has anyone else noticed how much Kristi has trimmed down over these weeks? She looks great. Maybe all of us who are needing to lose weight should sign up for lots of dance lessons and competition, most of these contestants lose weight in the process. (I'd last maybe five minutes...!)

The whole show was good, but not spectacular, so maybe everyone has reached their peak! Tonight should be good, it is a 100 show celebration.

I would agree, it probably is Marissa's night to go. Jason and Kristi were really good!! And while I agree that Cristian was a trooper for sticking in there, I think he's milking it a little. (sounds cruel...I know) (A little bling for the arm)

Looking forward to tonight's show, too!

And your right, it is a really good weight loss program. Look how good Marie Osmond looked at the end of last season!! They have a workout tape, I bought it. Funny thing is that I sat on my couch watching it, Ihaven't started it yet! icon_redface.gificon_lol.gif

I was just watching Good Morning America, and they figured and showed how Christian was able to do that lift last night.

Actually Cheryl made it possible, she should get the credit! She basically wraps herself around his torso and does the lift herself. The newsman (don't remember his name) did it with a dancer on their staff, and he doesn't dance at all...and it worked. Amazing!

I agree, it's Marissa's turn. My hubby thought she should have gone last week but Shannon needed to go. What do you think about Mario? My hubby thinks he's getting cheated but I don't. Mario works hard but still looks like he's at the club, not on a ballroom dance floor.

FYI - my hubby and I did take dance lessons for a while and it was a lot of fun. We ended up moving and doing remodelling work while taking lessons so we didn't get to practice much. It was alot of fun though!

Wow, shock city!

I am so surprised, and now I have to watch Marissa another week! She has improved though, especially with long skirts and her hair calmed down. I know, I'm being tacky!!!

When Karina is waiting for the names to be called, I really think she needs to control her eye rolling and her facial expressions.

Onward and upward next week!

Yeah, Marissa squeaked by another week...but I was actually happy for her!!! I think it surprised her icon_surprised.gif !!!

Karina and anyone who is unfortunate enough to get her will never win DWTS! She has a history of sulking when she doesn't like something, and it always comes across as poor sportsmanship! She's pretty and she is a great dancer, but she'll never win, remember her face when Mario didn't win?? thumbsdown.gif

Wow, almost thought Max and Mel weren't going to come out during that song last night. It was half over....someone was probably in the bathroom icon_wink.gificon_wink.gif He looked pretty good though!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Another Monday night of great dancing! Okay, lets face it, Marissa has GOT to go tonight, there is no comparison between her and the other three left!

Kristi has been the best from the getgo, and still is IMO, but the guys have really stepped up. I think Christian has danced better since he hurt his arm than he did before, and at this point it looks like he has as good a chance to win as Jason.

lisad1, in case you didn't see it, Max just said on Good Morning America this morning that he will be back on DWTS next season!

Can't wait for tonight, it should be a good show. I like seeing the little kids dance almost as much as the big kids.

ooohh, I agree Marissa really needs to go this week. I didn't care for either of her dances this week...They did a TERRIBLE job dressing her
this week!! They picked the absolutely most unflattering dresses for her which is too bad because it detracts from the dancing. I know that sounds ugly, but i'm overweight, and it's just a fact.

I hope Kristi wins, she really is the best one and has been from the beginning. But the men usually take it! If it comes down to the guys, I hope Jason gets it. He has been good every week. If Christian gets it,
it will be because he hurt himself. He was on the bottom before he injured himself. Was glad to see that not everything was one-handed last night...

I missed Good Morning America, Veejaytx, but I'm glad to hear he'll
be back next season! icon_cool.gif Thanks for the update!

I'm glad Marissa was the one that left, she was definitely the worst of the 4. My hubby was so funny. When they were getting ready to announce who was leaving, he said "my stomach hurts." I thought he was sick because he been fighting some stuff this week and he said no, he just would be sick if Marissa stayed. I did appreciate how upbeat she was and even as she was leaving, she was so thrilled to have been there and gotten that far. She just wasn't the best dancer.

I'm really rooting for Kristi. She deserves it and we need another female winner. But, my favorite has yet to win so I need to root for someone else I guess. icon_redface.gificon_lol.gif

I had made up my mind not to watch next week if Marissa stayed! Sure glad I don't have to follow through with that! She just turned me off completely every time. I'm overweight myself, so feel I can say that at least part of the turn-off was her "chunkiness." I'm a fairly quiet, self-contained person, and Marissa just seemed overblown in all things.

Anyway! Now we can look forward to next week. I also think Kristi should win, but who knows what the voting public might do. Jason and Christian are both good, but not as good as Kristi, IMO! See you next week when we get the next installment.
