You know, I haven't tried her cookies, but the cookie recipe I use is almost identical to hers and I've found that recipe to be very tasty and tender, yet sturdy enough to handle heavy decorating. Hope that helps! ![]()
I've made her orange cream, shortbread I, almond paste and chocolate cookies. They were all great. My favorite is the chocolate - be sure and use Dutch process cocoa. I personally don't like the orange cream, however my family and friends beg me to make it.
I've never used her cookie recipes, but I've used her glace' icing a lot. It works great and you get a nice shine to them. My valentine heart cookies in my photos have the glace on them.
Mitsel I just looked at your pix -- WOW!! You are a VERY talented individual!!! Great pix!! ![]()

Wow! You are the cookie pro! I love the way your cookies look. Am I correct? You say you don't need to outline the cookies first before icing????
I think I'm going to go with her regular cookie dough recipe and her glace.
I do think the orange one sounds yummy too and so does the chocolate but I'm making cookies that look like a dog bone for a puppy party and I'm putting all the kids name on them and using them as place cards that they can eat. I don't know how many kids would like orange and chocolate wouldn't look right as a bone.
Thanks everyone!
