Business By cakesondemand Updated 6 Jan 2007 , 7:11pm by cakesondemand
We have been trying to figure out what to do for my home page and my son and I finally figured it out and I can now have a monthly feature. since Valentines Day is next month we are going to have to make some cookie bouquets to feature with cakes the picture will fade out to different pics once we have more. Have a look www.cakesondemand.com
Coments please good or bad.
I like the clearly divided sections and the sketchy little cake/cookie/cupcake icons in black, very cute! It's nice and bright and easy to navigate.
To be very picky:
-on the Home Page, "If your looking for something special for that special someone?, You've...." should be "if you're looking for somethiing special for that special someone, you've..."
-in the Wedding Cakes section, "weather" should be spelled "whether"
-in the Cookie Bouquet section, "Tripple" should be "Triple"
-in the Cookie Bouquet section, the pricing is a bit confusing. Maybe start with the lowest prices for the single cookies and go up from there instead? It's kind of hard to read. Also, the "NOTE: Prices listed below may not be accurate." is a bit off-putting. Maybe that should read "Prices vary according to cookie sizing and detailing. Please call us for an exact quote for your inquiry."
antonia74 thank you for your help I will email my son and have it changed thats what I was looking for someone to catch the mistakes and good input.
It sure helps when there are other to see your mistakes. I love CC
I knew if I asked someone would help. I sent the info for my son to make the changes and I called him too. Thanks again. You can go over and over it and still miss things. I see you change your site it looks awsome. I have always had it in my favorites just have looked in a while. I guess my next thing is put watermarks on my cake pictures. I have to figure out how first.
I love it! I really like the little sketches, too! Very clever! And your cakes are lovely. ![]()
