VAHLRONA VAHLRONA VAHLRONA...it can be hard to find. I get it at a local gourmet type grocery store. They sell it in bulk for $13.99/lb...it is well worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have always used Hershey's cocoa and loved it until last week I made a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing for my younger sis.
She LOVES Ghiridelli chocolate so I bought the Ghiridelli cocoa just for kicks. It was a tad more expensive, but I thought it was delicious!

I personally always use Hershey Cocoa for my chocolate cake... also use it for my chocolate frosting.

I was an avid Hershey cocoa user until I tried Nestle. I like it much better. Question about the Ghiridelli chocolate...how do you incorporate that into a cake (in place of the cocoa)? Do you shave it or melt it? It sounds wonderful,,,especially since I saw some of the Christmas gift sets 1/2 price at Walgreens!

It's actually the Ghiridelli Cocoa Powder...just like Hershey's or Nestle's. I just thought it had a richer chocolate flavor and not quite as much of a semi-sweet chocolate.

Hope this helps!
