Need Idea For A "chevron" Cake, Please Help!!!

Can anyone help me? A friend wants a cake for her husband's birthday and she wants something related to his work (she only told me he works at the Chevron refinery offices), I thought about a little fondant desk with office supplies on top of the cake but I think is kind of boring, any ideas are greatly appreciated. thanks! 
. . . I'm not sure if Chevron with Techron is just a Canadian thing . . . and I realize you said refinery . . . but I'll throw this idea out for whatever it is worth . . . these cars attached are from Chevron commercials up here in the Great White North . . . might be fun to make one of the cars???

How about just make the "Chevron"... Carve and ice the cake to look like the symbol

Thank you guys these are really good ideas, I'll talk tomorrow with my friend and see what she thinks about them, I liked them both so much. I really love when people give me time to come up with an amazing cake, don't you? Good thing I still have 2 weeks!!!!
