OK - I am sorry if this has been posted hundreds of times before, but I am feeling a bit frustrated. I tried to do my first FBCT of the princess from Sleeping Beauty. It was a flop!
I taped the picture to the bottom of a piece of plexiglass and put waxed paper on top. I outlined in black and filled in with thinned BC. I then froze it for several hours.
When I transferred onto the cake, the black outline came off with the waxed paper and left a big pink blob. What did I do wrong?
I suspect I did not freeze long enough, or the FBCT was too thick. (Or maybe the picture was too detailed...)
Any ideas/help on this?
that happened to me when I used the wilton black. when I used the fudge icing it worked fine. did you use wilton? I don't think the detail is the problem (i had alot of detail in my simba and nala and it turned out fine) and if you froze it for a couple of hours it should have been fine.
