I got one of these for Christmas and just read over the instructions, but I'm confused icon_confused.gif Are the individual petals supposed to be separated, and if so, how? It doesn't look like the cutter makes individual petals. I'm just reading how you assemble the rose and it sounds like they should be separate. Help!

I am not very familiar with JEM products, but if the instructions are not too long, please write them up and post them, or PM them to me, and I will try to help you.

But you know, it really does make a very nice decoration, as is.

Ok, this one is exactly the same as that Wilton kit (do they even still sell it).

You run the entire petal up the stem, underneath the center (you have to make your center separately). You glue the petal to the center, where they meet. Then you glue the tiniest bit of the bottom of the edge (near the center) of the petal, and overlap it onto the next petal. Do the same with all other petals, overlapping in the same direction each time.

Hi Theresa,

Yes, they do sell that Wilton rose cutter set, and I got one of those too! The difference I see in them is that the sides of the petals on the JEM cutter go almost to the center, but the Wilton's don't.

I am a little confused by your instructions. icon_confused.gif DH is now reading the JEM instructions to see if you understands and can explain to me icon_smile.gif

Thanks!
