My Sheet Cake stuck to the pan. I can repair it easily enough with icing but can I still sell it as one of the sheet cakes for my wedding cake order or should I just make cake balls and start over???

The original order was one small three tiered wedding cake with two sheet cakes to make up the rest. However the bride would like them out with the tiered cake with their names, one on each and either side of the main cake,.. kind of like satellite cakes I guess. Again, I'm pretty sure it's repairable and it' will be covered in icing but they'll probably notice when they cut that it was repaired. Is this OK, or should I just start over???

Oh, by the way for those of you how read my thread on the miffed by the cheapo bride this is the one that's getting it for the $1 pp. and she didn't even want to pay that,.. her MIL to be hired me. She said to me that 'I thought since you were just starting out I'd pay you for materials and 'just a bit' more for your time. I think she wanted it ultimately for $100 total for 200 people.

OK, I'm venting again... sorry icon_redface.gif Back to my question... should I start over of just repair it and be done with it!?

Thanks!!

Under the circumstances, I would repair it for sure, no way I'd bake another cake for those people!

That's just the way I'd feel about it! Janice

I'd repair it and move on. Don't think twice about it.

Good luck.
