Has Anyone Heard Of A Strawberry Dumpling With Sprite???

Ok I had a friend of mine that a lady gave them a Strawberry Dumpling cake or Pastry thing that she made with Sprite and sugar and Pilsbury Cresent rolls. Has anyone ever heard of this and have a recipe?? I tasted the finished product and I swear it was one of the best things have ever had??? Can someone please save me from the abyss of not knowing?? LOL
