Hi All,

For any of you who have purchased and used the Wilton pre-made colored fondants....Do you know roughly what size of cake it will cover for one color? I want to buy the pastel fondant for a competition cake as I don't want to use my really good stuff.I can use the 40% off coupon so I won't end up spending a ton of money.

It should say right on the box. If I remember right, one box covers up to a 10 inch cake, but don't quote me on that. I know Wilton's website has a table of how many ounces of fondant cover how much cake. Let me see if I can find that link.

It's been awhile since I used it but I think it said it covered a 8" or 9" 2 layer cake. It should tell you on the box though. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Sorry, I can't find the link, but I know the fondant chart is in the yearbook, so if you have the latest one that will tell you. Good luck!! icon_smile.gif

Kiddiekakes, I bought the Wilton colored fondant that came 5 colors to a box, and the packages of each color were very very small - I'm thinking 3 oz? I haven't seen larger packages of Wilton colored fondant but I haven't really been looking either. icon_rolleyes.gif
