Any great ideas out there for such a topic? I was thinking about some scenery, but what? Or perhaps a monkey or iguana - I know they are common there. 
My husband is leaving in a few weeks on a mission trip there and we are having a party for him before he goes. I know you guys will have a lot of great ideas to help me. thanks in advance! 
I forget which book I saw it in but something cute might be a jungle cake...made from a bunch of round cakes all stacked up (but the same width) and then ropes made from fondant all sort of twisty and knarley looking like jungle trees up the sides of the cake..then a bunch of broad leaves on top of the cake..what made it cute was animal faces and snakes peaking out from behind the tree trunks..the animals were cartoony so not scarey...I think a monkey was poking it's head out the top of the green leaves at the top of the "trees"
It looked really cute and would be appropriate..I wanted to try it some time.
You could decorate the cake board with your message..
