i have made some mini wedding cakes, 3 tier.. i also have clear square boxes for them to go into, where you remove the lid, and then plce the cake in. how do you put to cake into the box without damaging the cake??!!!! any tips, please!!!!!!!!

I don't know what your cake boxes look like, but is it possible to put the box over top of the cakes and then somehow close them after the cake is in there. Basically like putting the box upside-down over top of the cake.

Will that work?

The mini cake can't be too heavy, can it? Could you use 2 pieces of pretty ribbon under the cake base and lower it into your box and then either slide the ribbon out or even better use ribbon as part of the decoration.Good luck.

Maybe you could lay the open end on its side and put the cake in by sliding it in. So the lid will come open on the side instead of ontop. ????
