A couple of my favorites are the Whimsical Bake House, or any of the Deb Brown books. Depends and what you like. Colette's books are always great too. Most of the other books I like would require special order.

Oh Misty, anything by Alan Dunn, he is my sugar flower favorite.
I have three of his books
Sugar Flowers For All Seasons
Sugar Roses For Cakes
Sugar Orchids For Cakes

I agree, Romantic Wedding cakes by Kerry Vincent is a wonderful book

Anything by Debbie Brown

Beverly Clarks wedding book is beautiful but it's really all parts of a wedding and only about 8 pages of cakes, but beautiful

Margaret Brauns Book Cakewalk is gorgeous, not practical but lots of eye candy

I think Colette Peter's books are fun to look at but not really my favorite style of decorating

I understand that Elisa Strauss of Confetti Cakes is coming out with a book

If they have any British or Australian wedding cake magazines be sure and check them out, they are filled with pages of color prints, fabulous cakes.

I got a $100.00 B&N gift certificate too, meet you there!

It depends on what you are looking for.

I agree Debbie Brown has some great books.

If you are looking for recipes then the Cake Bible is great.

I have been looking for the Whimsical Bake House there but have never seen it.

Just got Toba's new book today. At first I thought $65.00 was alot but if you sit and read it I think it's going to be well worth it. At the end of each chapter she gives you exercises to do.

Side note- don't forget coupon sites like www.fatwallet.com or
www.wow-coupons.com. I used 30% coupon on Toba's book today and saved $19.50

I also like Debbie Brown's books.

UGGG! I checked amazon and Elisa's book is already out. It's called The Confetti Cake Cookbook. I just ordered a bunch of cake decorating books from amazon...if only I had known! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Elisa Strauss!!!

I already have The Well-Decorated Cake by Toba Garrett and it's one of my favorites, I also really like The Essential Guide To Cake Decorating and Sweet Celebrations (Sylvia Weinstock is known for her flowers you may want to check this one out). The books I just ordered were, The Whimsical bakehouse, 50 Easy party cakes (Debbie Brown), Creative Cookies (Toba Garrett) and Cakewalk (Margaret Braun). I think I am begining to become a bit of a cake book junkie! I plan to get Toba Garrett's new book and Confetti Cakes (of Course) next! Oh also...I am not too familiar with his book but Scott Clark Woolley is also really well know for his flowers I think his book is called Cakes By Design.
