Hello everyone hope all had a wonderful Xmas. I was wondering why DH white cake mix calls for only 2 tbls. oil? Where most of the others call 1/2 cup to 1/4 cup. Just curious. Thanks

I think it is because the white cake is supposed to have a much lighter texture than the other cakes. I wonder if the oil would also make the cake a bit yellowish if you were to use 1/3 cup?
