Hi I bought a bottle of Strawberry coulis in walmart....can't remember who makes it but I thought that it would make a good cake filling. I ahve heard of it but not really sure what it is and will it make a good filling? Thanks Jen

Haven't heard of this product so I can't help you. But if you have an extra cupcake try it with that. That is how I test my fillings with the cakes. HTH

I believe that fruit coulis are fruit purees. I don't think it would make a good filling, but you could decorate your plate with little squiggles of it. Just like a fancy restaurant does for some of their dessert plates. Kind of like a decorative sauce....does that make sense?

coulis is 'sauce' it may be too thin to use as a filling....but you can flavor some butter cream with it..and chop some strawberries into it and I'll bet it will make a yummy filling!
