Anyone out there that uses Toba's yellow cake recipe...

ever make it into marble??? I have failed at scratch marble in the past. I usually use this recipe for my yellow cakes and know it's yummy and reliable!! Any suggestions to make it marble? and have you done it successfully?
thanks so much!
I don't have an answer but I am curious too so I wanted to give you a "bump" up.
I LOVE that recipe! Toba rocks all the way around! I've made marble by making this recipe and her chocolate fudge cake recipe and just swirling them together. I've never cut the recipes in half to make one 8 or 9" cake, I've only baked both recipes together as a half-sheet (which takes two recipes anyway). I'm not sure if you could add cocoa or melted chocolate to the yellow batter without messing it up somehow.
That was my suggestion as well, I would say take 1/3rd of the batter and melt some chocolate in it and then add it back to the yellow and swirl!! Sounds great!!
