How do I make tissue out of gumpaste to have a realistic look for a box cake?

Thanks JanH! I really appreciate your time in helping me with this. I kinda thought along those lines, but wasn't quite confident enough to try it. I'll have to try now. At least I have guide to start me off. Thanks again.

I made tissue paper out of gumpaste for a box cake. I rolled it out pretty thin and cut in squares and gathered at one end. You won't have any problems, it was very easy.

Thanks MissRobin, I'll have to try that. It sounds easy enough. As a matter of fact, I'll try that tonight with my daughter. She'll love doing that. Thanks again!
