Hiya guys,
I am in need of a pie crust recipe that can take a beating and still be flaky (like me, LOL) I remember a lady that my mom worked with back in the day that made a crust recipe that used eggs, sugar and oil. You could re roll and reroll that stuff til the cows came home and it would still be light and flaky. Does anyone have anything that is comparable to that at all.
Any input would be appreciated. This is for large quantities and if you guys had the weights for this instead of cups n tablespoons n such that would be even better.
Thanks in advance for all your help ladies and gents.

2 C Flour
1 t. salt
2/3 C liquid oil like Cricso or Wesson liquid in bottle
1/3 C. Milk

Stir together with a fork.
Roll it out between 2 sheets of wax paper.

We love this recipe.

Hang tight and I will get a great recipe that my husband uses. I grew up with a lot of baking but never ever had a pie crust as incredible as his.

tytytytytytytytytyty.........................
ladies for your input. I used the good ol' fashioned recipe for pie crust and it just would fall apart before I even got it into the pan sheesh what a mess. The pies turned out ok but dang, what a pain in the ol' patootie.

I absolutley love this recipe for pie crusts its simple and very very flaky and have been getting rave reviews for years

1/2 lb shortning
1 cup margarine
3 cups flour
1 cup ice water

Add first 3 ingredients together and blend with two knives or pastry cutter. Add cold water all at once mix with a fork or your hands. If too sticky add a little more flour slowly until you can form into shape without sticking. Refrigerate for at least 2 hrs then roll out as usual. I usually can make 2 double crust pies with this recipe
