Do you have 1, 2, 3, or 4 movies at a time? I know I want to get at least 2, so I always have a movie, but I don't know if it's worth it to get more than that.....

I bought my DH the 2 movie plan last Christmas. He really loved it, but burned out on it by the time the 3 month term ran out. In order to really get your money's worth, he calculated that you would have to watch a move right when it came in and return it ASAP, so he'd get to watch at least 2 movies every week. If you keep them longer it eats into your value. No late fees per se, but you are paying more per movie the longer you keep them. It's tough to watch that many movies in addition to whatever tv you watch throughout the week. At least for us, anyway.

Good luck to you!

We had it, with the 3 movie plan. One for him, one for me, one for the kids. BUT we don't have cable, and only watch movies. I decided to buy movies instead, and like working on our collection more than just renting. We have about 200 now.

We do the one at a time deal and were watching 2 movies per week but lately the turn around time on the movies is getting longer. Use to be if I sent it back on Monday they would get it Tuesday and I would have the next one by Wednesday, now I don't get the new one until Thursday or Friday..........

We have the 3 plan, which works well for us, with a mix of guy stuff, girl stuff, kid stuff and something for the two of us. I also like to exercise with dvd's and will rent them first before committing to buying.

Right now we have the 2 plan, we get one for us and one for our DS's. Thought about changing to the 3 plan, so that I could get a girly movie if I wanted, but haven't done it yet.

vww104, I agree about the trying the movie out first before buying it. We've bought some in the past, watched it, and not liked it.... waste of money. This way we know that we liked the movie enough to spend the money to buy it.
