Ok, I am pretty new at the cake decorating thing (about 3 months). I was asked to make a cake of the Wiz. The 1978 Michael Jackson take on the Wizard Of Oz. So I thought I would make it a 3 tierd cake. The top cake will have color flow peices of Emerald City (which is new york in the movie) and the yellow brick road will go up the tiers. But I am stuck there. I don't know what else to do. I have never made figures before and I guess I can try but I could use some ideas.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know much about The Wiz. I found these playbill covers that might help you get some ideas...

You could try chocolate transfers - they are real easy and fun, and make your cake look great!! Here is an example of a cake I did with them:

It's been a while since I've seen the wiz, but maybe you could do each tier from a different scene. The bottom tier as Dorotthy's home, maybe the second tier as the sweat shop or whatever that scene was and the top tier as emerald city. I should go watch that again!!
