I was just thinking today about my interest in cake decorating and how I hope to develop my abilities over the years, and I got to wondering how old or young Cake Central members are. Don't worry about giving away your age, it's all anonymous!

Just wanted to add that when I was putting together the poll, I did have an option for 70+, but I guess you can only have 6 options. I really didn't mean to leave anyone out!

Ha! It's not my birthday yet, so I get to check the lower box. I'm older than a lot of you, but there's an under 20 year old who just blows me away with her work. I want to be HER when I grow up!

Hey, you "youngsters", I could have used that 70+ spot, but as far as I know I am the only one!

As far as I can tell from my experience, there are a few pluses to getting older (read: old) but very, very few! Janice

Well, as I always say "Consider the alternative!"
I always wanted to grow up to be a feisty old lady, and by heaven, I made it! icon_biggrin.gif

I'm 57 and darn proud to have lived this long. I am on full time oxygen and thought I was going to die of COPD four years ago. I'm thankful for every year the Lord gives me. I plan on living for many more years. Afraid to die for fear that I wouldn't be missed. Just kidding. I plan on living each day to the fullest.

Merry Christmas to all of you at CC. Sometimes I think I spend more time with you than my own family. By the way, they are all coming for breakfast so I'd better get busy...........

I turned 33 ten days ago. Ask any of the kids at my church & they will tell you I'm just a big kid. Life is to short to worry about the number, age is how you feel. Some days I feel old & creeky others I feel unstoppable.

Well so few of us in my age bracket. Now that would be two choices I have. lol. Well will come clean the oldest bracket. I have done decorating for many years as a hobby but since I retired (52) it has been full on and I am busier than when I was working. I enjoy it and love the company of all you CCr's. Happy New Year.
