So I'm getting ready to try my first transfer see picture I want it for my husband's work, so thin buttercream I also heard to rub some shortening on the wax paper it case it wants to stick, is a logo like this one easier than a detailed one? On the tutorial on this website it says think of layering what does that mean? and when it says to pipe in the color should I do it the same way you would flood a sugar cookie? but of course thicker icing then just spread the icing to fill in any spaces. Should I do the border of the letter in a thicker consistency icing like medium would that help? I plan to do the outline in a tip 3 but can I use like a one for the small spaces on the letters? I hope I'm not confusing anyone thanks in advance

Personally, I wouldn't do a FBCT for this logo. I don't think that technique yields clean enough lines. I'd do this in royal colorflow. You have more control and can do tiny details. You can also achieve that color changing effect with royal.

Don't use wax paper, use saran wrap instead.
