I have never tried to make one of these but have often wondered how or what do you get the top to stick. She looks so pretty love the angel concept.

I would like to do one of these also, but as a newbie I am also afraid of it. I have never atempted it and don't have a clue on where to begin.

Very pretty and I like that it's an angel also!! +I really like how you layered the skirt! I just did my first doll cake too. I think I studies everything I could on it for abaout a year until I finally had the guts to try one. My grandson wants me to make another real soon, but we'll have to see about that!!

Gee, thanks everyone.
I didn't use the doll mold to form this, that is why she is a little wide.
The pearls on her dress are edible. The pearls on her hair are not.
Feathers, not edible either.
I am going to make another angel with the doll mold when I get one, but in the mean time, this gave me some good practice.
