The Top Of The Dress Of A Dress Cake

I want to make a dress cake but I am not sure how to make the hanger and the bodice of the dress to stand up. I don't want the doll in there. Can you help me please

I would make the top of the dress and the hanger out of gumpaste, or a gumpaste/mmf 50/50 mix, and let it dry for a few days. Once dry, it will stand up. HTH!!! Good luck!

Why not try Rice krispie treats covered in fondant to make the bodice and royal icing to make the hanger.
