Does anyone know the formula for calculating how much batter a cake needs (in cups)?I want to translate a recipe I have for a 9 in. 4 in. high cake to a 14 in. 3 in. high cake.THANKS IN ADVANCE!
I sent you a pm.
A 14 x 3" high round cake pan will take 15 cups of batter. I think there's a chart under articles here on cc and if not there is some on the Wilton site.
