Hi, I have a great buttercream recipe i like to use and was wondering how to incorporate cream cheese into it...wondering if anyone has a proven and tried one that tastes great...not fond of shortening so one w/ powdered sugar, vanilla, butter etc is what I am interested in. Thanks in advance friends for your helpful reply and always appreciated advice!

The CC crusting cream cheese b/c is highly rated:

(You can use all butter, but the frosting will be softer.

Hi, yesterday I made the crusting cc recipe, cause it only has 1/2 cup shortening, and I added melted white chocolate, and a box of the cheesecake pudding mixed with a little water until it's creamy, it came out VERY YUMMY! I don't know how well it ices since I used it as my filling, but it sure was good!
