I'M MAKIN A "5 N "6 CAKE PAN FOR MY DAUGHTER BIRTHDAY. AND I WAS WONDERING DO I USE A CAKE BOARD OR DOWELS TO SUPPORT IT?

Here are my rules to myself. I always use a cake board no surprises and no issues. Then when in doubt dowel. Then dowel again. If still wondering about moving the cake then put one more dowel in icon_lol.gif

Not really but I would put the smaller cake on a cake board to help it from sinking too much. I have done those at a bakery many times with no complaints from the customers.
