I just got the call that the mayor of a small town is retiring. They need a cake for Thursday morning.
No specifics--just do whatever you think so long as it is a white cake! (Oh how I hate to hear those words!!!!!!!!!)
It is a small beach town. The mayor has been there forever.
Looking to be about 50-75 people there.
I looked in the gallery, and the only thing that jumped out at me is the "Thanks a Million" cake where it is tierred and the designer put fake money on it.
I have no clues...PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
does the town have a website you can check out? if so, is there a logo or landmark? can you call them back and ask about his favorite hobbie? golf? fishing? hunting? usually retirement is marked with indulging in your favorite hobby. i hate it too when they aren't very specific!
