The book, Romantic Wedding Cakes by Kerry Vincent might have gum paste vase directions. (The book shows gum paste flowers in one.)
Might find that at the library.
Here are some molds:

There's a tutorial in Wilton's A Romantic Portfolio but I don't really understand their directiosn much.
Toba's book is coming probably on friday, does anyone know if IT has any directions for what I'm talking about?
I can give instructions for a vase..well...have a look in my photos..I made a round container to hold flowers for the purple and yellow cake and a wedding cake..those were out of gumpaste though.
Ok...find a round bottle..wine..vinegar..whatever is the circumferance of the vase you want.
Measure the circumferance. Make a cardboard template the length you need and the width you want.
Roll out your gumpaste and cut to size. Wrap it around the bottle and seal the seam. Let stand, around the bottle for a day or so for it to dry enough to handle. I make sure that the bottle has been lubricated with some shortening so the gumpaste won't stick. I also "twist" the bottle GENTLY while it is drying to make sure it isn't sticking.
AFter the gumpaste has dried enough to handle you will cut and attach the bottom of the vase. Roll out the paste, paint whatever "glue" you will use on the bottom of the vase and place it on the rolled out paste. Press gently to get a good seal and then cut the paste around the circumferance of the vase. Let dry.
Once dry you can decorate your vase with other gumpaste pieces..paint it..whatever.
