MARZIPAN RECIPE

- 8 ounze almond paste cut into small pieces (usually found in the aisle with all the other pie fillings)
- 3 TBSP light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 2/3 cup marshmallow cream
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar

Combine almond paste, corn syrup, flavoring & marshmallow cream in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, until it forms a stiff ball.

This makes quite a lot of marzipan ~ enough to cover the top & sides of a 9" fruitcake with some left over for nibbling on (my favorite part!)
