I am a great fan of your work. Perfect and flawless!! My question is, do you make the mums on your newest fall cakes directly on the cake or on a nail? If you use a nail, how do you get them so big? Mine always come out very small.
I posted instead of PMing because I thought others may be interested in your answer.
Thanks,
Susan
I'm Very interested!
Such beautiful work... Also, how are you doing the "Pine" looking leaves?
Thanh Thanh, your work is amazing. I'd love to watch you work, especially how you get your icing so smooth.
KHalstead , I used rose tip 101 and a stick, do same way to make roses with more pental.

Thanh Thanh... Wow...love the Pine Needles!
On the leaves on your fall cakes, did you use a toothpick, or paint brush to "pull" the brown and green colors through your leaves? They look 3D and very real with the different colors...
I'm a serious newbie, and trying to learn from the greats here on CC ![]()
Oh Wowie!!! You are Baton Rouge??? I live a little north, and am taking my classes at the Michael's on Airline. Where do you work? Can I come see your craft in person?
Ok...a Master in my very town! ![]()
