I am maing acorns as part of my course, I am not happy with the way mine are looking does anyone have any notes or instructions on how to make these??

Hello Anne:
Made my acorns out of fondant/gum paste blend. I formed the nut first by shaping into an oval then made the little caps separately and attached with gum glue. I just molded them really carefully and used a little tool to texture the cap to look like scales. Dusted them gold. Will try to send picture to you tomorrow.
