Does anyone know if you can use tart pans to make cheesecake in? I have some 4" tart pans that you push the bottom up to release from the sides and I would like to use these instead of buying smaller springform pans. Any help would be great.

I don't see why not. Just make sure you loosen the cheesecake from the sides BEFORE you push up on the bottom or else you might destroy the look of the cheesecake. Remember, they stick to the sides.
