I used Antonia's icing for the first time. It is easy to work with (haven't tasted it yet). I am curious, can it be flavored or not?

I would think that you could flavor it with an extract (alcohol based) but not with a flavor oil like LorAnns. I've never used it myself, so I'm just taking a guess. It would seem logical though since you can't have any grease/fat in royal icing or it will break down. HTH!

BTW~ WOO HOOOOO!!!! This is post #999 for me!! icon_biggrin.gif

I just made antonia's icing about an hour ago and I flavored it with almond and vanilla. Worked just fine.
