I took my Cake Mix Doctor book to the grocery store to purchase the ingredients for a white cake & someone took it out of my cart! Merry Christmas! Could someome please give me the ingredients and measurements for the white bridal cake and the white chocolate frosting. It's the one with raspberry preserves. Don't have time to run to the book store to get one this evening but will have to pick one up the next time I'm out.

Thanks a million

Melissa

OH NO! I wonder if they thought you were buying it and decided to try to get it for themselves! I bet if so they were really shocked when it wouldn't ring up at the register!

It is wrong either way but I have seen people take things from others carts in the store many times.

WOW !!! that is very lame on the thief's part.
Next, time insert a microchip in it..then you can trace who stole it..then have fun confronting the thief...LOL icon_smile.gif

I'm sorry this unfortunate incident happened to you.
I hope you will get what you are looking for. icon_smile.gif

Someone actually reached into your cart and took your book while you were shopping???? What in the world has happened to people that they would get that crazy??

Maybe the culprit had a guilty conscience and returned it to the grocery store.

Sorry that happened to you!

Oh my gosh!! That is ridiculous! It amazes me how low some people are and how many people have absolutely no values or morals.

I wish I could help out with the recipe but I don't have that book. I just wanted to say that I am really sorry that happened to you and just remember, karma always comes back around!! icon_wink.gif

Well, Be glad it was only the cake book, and not your purse!! Or your car!! That would be MY luck. And my purse would have my phone in it, so I wouldn't be able to call anyone without the quarter (also in my purse) for the payphone!!!

Hope your cake turns out, and they feel really really guilty.

I can leave my kids in the cart and no one ever takes them!

The book was open and had a pencil in it plus a couple pieces of paper sticking out so it was obvious that I wasn't just purchasing it. The store will call me if it turns up.

Thanks for the recipe. I knew I could count on you guys.

Merry Christmas

The Cake Doctor
By Anne Byrn

Really yummy recipes. The book says $14.95 but I know I didn't pay that much. I don't know if you have a warehouse club around you (Costco, Sam's) if you do they may have, and at a good price.

You use a box cake mix and they just have you add a little extra here and there and you come up with a whole new cake.

One of the members may know, I think she even has a second one out, but I haven't seen it yet.
