Hello:

I am making a strawberry cheesecake for our work holiday/anniversary celebration. I would like to write on it. Would melted chocolate or cool whip work for this? What would you recommend? Thanks.

Melted chocolate sounds so good but I have absolutely no idea if it would work. Sorry I couldn't be a whole lot of help there

you can write on cheesecake just as it were any other type of cake, so cool whip or chocolate should work fine...what goes with the decor better?

When I decorated a cheesecake a couple of years ago, I just made a little icing with CC, sugar, vanilla, and milk accomodating your tastes in how stiff you like to have your icing when you write. HTH.

I just did a cheesecake like FLOWERGEL is talking about........I think it was hers that I saw that made me think to do it......I just reserved a little bit of the cheesecake batter and colored half red and half green and then put it in a piping bag and piped Merry Christmas and some holly leaves and berries......didn't take a pic. cuz it was just for play but it was super easy and looked REALLY cool when it was baked!!!

Hi. I did a cheesecake like this last week, although it's not a great job. It's in my pictures. I just reserved some of the batter, colored it and piped it on the cake. I actually used unused catsup and mustard bottles that had a very small opening as it seemed to give me better control than an icing bag would.
