Does anyone have or know where to find gingerbread house templates? I am looking for something a bit more intricate than the average 4 walls and a pitched roof which you get in the kits.

I would like to make a spooky haunted house for Halloween, and for Christmas I would really like to make a Caribbean cottage with a porch. I have had a look around on the web but I seem only to find the standard box shaped houses.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.

I have a BHG book that has some in it and I think it tells you how to make your own. That probably the way to go. Use cardboard and tape it together to make sure it lines up, etc. and then take it apart and cut it out of gingerbread. Then once it bakes and cools go back over it again with the template so that it is the correct shape. Or you can bake in slabs and just cut them out .

weirkd, what does BHG stand for? I am really curious now.

Thank you both for your help.
