I am making mini cheesecakes and I need to know if there are any special directions for freezing them. It is a gift for someone and I want them to be able to pull one out when needed. I dont want them to get freezer burnt or anything.Please can anyone help!!!

If I am worried about freezer burn. I freeze the item first and then vacuum pack it in a foodsaver bag. Air in the package is what causes freezer burn. Before the foodsaver I wrapped things as air tight as possible in saran and then aluminum foil.

Here's a thought if you don't have a foodsaver thingie. Glad makes freezer press 'n' seal. You could freeze it first then wrap it really tightly in that.

I like the idea of freezing first, I'd never thought of it. That way you don't squish it.
