I have an order for 100 bags of cookies. The bags are those little cellophane bags with a red/white twist-tie. There will be 6 cookies in each bag. The cookies are cake-like sugar cookies about 1 1/2 to 2" in diameter with all-butter buttercream frosting and dipped in sprinkles. I use all fresh/real ingredients and most of it is organic.

What in the heck do I charge for these? The cost to me is about $50-55.

Please help me!! OH! and they need them by this Thursday!

Not sure about anyone else but I would charge $2-3 per bag.

Hmmm, tough one! I wouldn't except a cent less than $150, but I'd be happier with $200 - $250 (especially at this time of year - these will take an enormous chunk of your time to complete!). That would be $2-2.50 for a bag of decorated cookies - not unreasonable! Hope that helps.

On the absolute lowest end of the price scale (and only if you want to cut them a good deal) $150.00.

I think $200.00 is a more reasonable price to compensate you for your work.

I think you'd be silly to charge less than $2.00 per bag, but I don't know the economics of your area. The question is, if you didn't do this type of work, what would you be willing to pay for such an item? Use that as a guide, then ask a neighbor or a friend who can be totally honest with you. That's at least a good place to start.

Hope you get a good price for your work.

Happy Baking,
