Good Morning to everyone!
I have a question... I am planning to bake/decorate some cookies for Christmas...
How many days in advance I can start?
I know they have to dry properly...
I am planning to bake around 60.
I want to know that because I am concerned that if I do it tonight then the flavor will be affected.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions/advice

I did mine last week....let dry a couple hours. I stored them in airtight containers...tasted one yesterday and they taste like the day they were made.

I just recently did 5 dozen about 3" tall and I baked them on a Tuesday, decorated every night and then delivered on Saturday. I had one last night, a week and a half after first baking them and they still tasted really good. So, you can probably go ahead and start now. The big thing I find to keep them fresh after they are totally dry is putting them in Ziplock bags with a piece of bread to soak up any air that would dry the cookies out.

Thank you so much for your advice and tips...
I'll start baking tonight. It is really cold in LA so it will help warm up the house...hahaha
