after a day of no red chocolate at the store and the other store I usually get my red choc colors at closed for the holiday I had to resort to this.
Does it look too ammature? I dont usually work with fondant but happen to have some handy. I am making a cake for a co worker that is retireing for the fire dept and I want it to look really good. I just am not into it!!
help what do you think?

Its actually going to lay on the cake top

truck is fine...

it's the ladder I'm not comfortable with.
it would be lying flat and seen on edge if actually on truck.

trying to figure out what to do with it...

hmmmm.....

take it off truck and prop it up w/ guy on it climbing to retirement?

do you have the fondant people cutters from wilton? if so just use that to cut out flat little guy?

or how about this image...."I'm taking my ladder and going home! (to do the gutters and hang the curtains and fix the light and.... So much for retirement!" (add a honey-do list?)
